Charity auctions

REACT grew out of a grass-roots support group that raised funds through auctions of board games and RPGs. We continue this tradition – one of the sources of funds obtained by REACT are charity auctions in a group of more than a thousand people.

What to list?

In the history of REACT auctions, board games, RPGs, books and comics were the most popular but at the several hundred auctions so far we have had a broad spectrum of items and even services listed as there are also people who auction their skills and time.

Why do that?

It may seem that listing a few small items won’t make much of a difference. Nothing could be further from the truth. At the beginning, REACT Foundation actions were financed mainly from charity auctions, which brought over PLN 100,000. Hundreds of items auctioned for often small monetary amounts allowed us to save many lives.

We operate in a fully transparent way. We publicly share the funds raised to support the Ukrainian defense war. You can be sure that your support will be put to good use and will go directly to those in need – to the front lines.

Good to bear in mind

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. However, please do remember that the auctioned items should be as valuable as possible and well described. Remember that both parties to this type of auction support REACT: the person auctioning supports the foundation materially while the buyer does it financially. We also want auctions to finish smoothly, so it is worth specifying in advance who will bear the shipping costs and making sure that items are packed in a way that ensures their safe transport.
