A car for transporting people with disabilities!
We delivered a car for transporting people with disabilities to the Lisova Polyana veterans care hospital near Kyiv. It will serve soldiers who were injured on the front line and are being rehabilitated in this hospital.
The Lisova Polyana Center is a unique place run by a very committed Director. In this hospital, wounded soldiers receive specialized care. Their therapy is comprehensive and consists of three parallel activities: psychological care, physical rehabilitation and a social support module. Such multi-track, professional care allows soldiers to recover and gain their well-being faster.
The entire hospital staff was very happy with the new vehicle. The delivered car has a special lift that facilitates loading and transporting people in wheelchairs, which will greatly improve the daily operation of the hospital. The car was donated to the hospital through the REACT Foundation by Tomasz Manikowski, an extraordinary man from Gdańsk, Poland.
